Since 1978 the Italian Theatre of Western Australia has staged one play a year at the Dolphin Theatre, UWA — Eduardo De Filippo, Scarpetta, Pirandello, Goldoni — in Italian and in dialect, by volunteers, for Perth's Italian community and anyone who loves the language.
